Yellowstone Park
There's a lot to be said about Yellowstone Park, and I hope to get it all in here over time. One thing to be careful about is the construction at the east entrance. There's a lot of dirt and unpaved road out there, and you're car is going to get dirty and beat up. But then again, if you're going in from that direction, there isn't much choice, is there?
One thing to mention is to make sure you have a map, and a good idea how to get out of Yellowstone. I assumed there would be clear signs to the north entrance, and it wouldn't be any big deal, but after driving for a while I knew I was in trouble. Then I had to do the un-manly thing and stop at several places to ask for directions to the north entrance, which isn't good for any man's pride(!). Add in a road closure or two and you quickly take the fun out of the vacation.
Gosh, so much to say, so little time. I'll get back here and write more later.
