A set of mailboxes in Wasilla, Alaska
Even in a nice residential neighborhood in Wasilla, Alaska, residents don't get the mail delivered to their homes. Instead, it's dropped off in boxes like these, at the entrance to the neighborhood. At least this is better than the post office box, which was all I could get when I lived in Talkeetna.
