My Alaska Northern Lights expedition last night
Reading that the Northern Lights ("Aurora Borealis") might be visible last night in Fairbanks, Alaska, I hopped in the car around 9 p.m., and drove as far north as I could, trying to find a clearing in the sky. This photo of a clearing in the sky was taken at 11:25 p.m., somewhere south of Cantwell, in the area known as Denali State Park.
