When you drive on the long dirt road in Hatcher Pass, Alaska, you'll wind through the mountains, eventually ending up with gorgeous views of the valley, like this.

This photo was taken from one of the high points of the Hatcher Pass mountains, looking down at the road in the valley below.

This is one of my favorite photos from my recent drive along the dirt road portion of Hatcher Pass. I could easily spend hours out there ... and I have, lol.
