Fairbanks Alaska winter weather (-35 reasons not to live there)
Ever think you want to live in Fairbanks, Alaska in the winter? I thought about it, and almost started to create a website for people to donate money to "Make me live in Fairbanks, Alaska", but at this point I'm glad I didn't. As this image shows, I can think of -35 reasons I'm glad I don't live in Fairbanks in the winter:

And don't let those pictures of the Sun fool you either. According to the Weather Underground website, the Fairbanks Sun will rise at 10:53 a.m., and set at 2:39 p.m., for less than four hours of visible sunlight. Bone-chilling cold, and no sunlight ... I really don't know why people live in Fairbanks, Alaska in the winter.
