Storm damage in Wasilla, Alaska
When I got back to Wasilla Sunday afternoon, my local neighborhood looked like a disaster area. I knew there was the earthquake Saturday morning, and a lot of wind in Seward, but there was no damage like what I was seeing around me in Wasilla.

A couple of neighbors told me Wasilla had winds up to 90 mph, and they were without power for fifteen hours. Wow, so glad I wasn't here. It does make me think I should get a small, emergency propane heater. Fifteen hours without electricity in the middle of a bad winter would be seriously bad news.
