The fireweed in Alaska is beginning to bloom
July 3, 2010, and I just noticed that the fireweed is beginning to bloom:
I noticed several small groups of fireweed beginning to bloom during my walks the last two nights, and pretty soon the sides of the roads will begin to look like they're on fire.
